Veterans Services
Applying for Benefits
Graduating veterans receive an honor cord from the Enrollment Services (Veterans Office) whether using military-related benefits or not.
The Veteran Services Office is responsible for submitting enrollment certifications for new and continuing students to the VA as well as answering questions veteran students or dependents may have concerning their educational benefits.

The Department of Veterans Affairs provides educational benefits through the Montgomery GI Bill-Active Duty Educational Assistance Program (Chapter 30), Montgomery GI Bill-Selected Reserve (Chapter 1606), Post 9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33), Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance Program (Chapter 35), and Vocational Rehabilitation & Employment (Chapter 31). If you are applying for the first time, you need to submit an application for education benefits online at https://www.va.gov/education/how-to-apply/.
