Board of Trustees
Northeast Mississippi Community College is governed by a local Board of Trustees that provides leadership, oversight, and direction for the college. The Board plays a key role in guiding the college’s mission, policies, and long-term success.
The Board is composed of fifteen members representing the college’s five-county service area—Alcorn, Prentiss, Tippah, Tishomingo, and Union counties. Each county is represented to ensure the college remains closely connected to the communities it serves.
Trustees are appointed for staggered terms, allowing for continuity in leadership while also bringing in new perspectives. The Board works collaboratively with college leadership to support student success, strengthen academic programs, and respond to the needs of the region.
