June 2026 Honoree
We are proud to recognize Dr. Justin Treloar, Division Head for Languages, as the June 2026 Northeast Way Award recipient. This award honors employees who embody the spirit of service, leadership, and dedication that make Northeast a special place. According to his nominator, “Dr. Treloar is always willing to stop what he’s doing and help students.” Whether he is assisting a student, supporting a colleague, or leading his division, Justin consistently makes time for others and approaches every interaction with a servant’s heart. His commitment extends far beyond the classroom. “He works long hours with our PTK organization and keeps our division running smoothly.” Through countless hours of service projects, meetings, and student activities, Justin invests in opportunities that help students grow both academically and personally. As his nominator shared, “Justin works hard with the PTK student organization. Long hours of service projects and travel away from home are just the tip of the iceberg to describe Justin’s commitment to NE students.” His dedication often happens behind the scenes, but its impact is felt throughout campus. What makes Justin especially deserving of this recognition is his humility. “People who give selflessly don’t always get the recognition they deserve. Justin is a humble leader for our division, and I would like to see him get a pat on the back.” That is the Northeast Way—leading through service, putting others first, and making a difference without seeking recognition. Congratulations, Dr. Justin Treloar, on being named this month’s Northeast Way Award recipient. Your commitment to our students, your colleagues, and Northeast does not go unnoticed, and we are grateful for the impact you make every day.
