Where can I use my Mobile ID? Expand section

Your Northeast Mobile ID Card is accepted at the following locations:

Door Access
Dining Hall (Cafeteria & Tiger Grill)
Bookstore On-campus point of sale (Bookstore & Starbucks)
Library (Book Checkout)
Fitness Center
On-campus point of sale (Business Office, Admissions & Records)
On-campus identification (Business Office, Housing Office)
Athletic Events

Why isn't my balance displaying? Expand section

If your account balances are $0, they will not display until funds are added.

If you have available funds that are not displaying, please contact the Student Business Services Office on Ramsey Hall at 800-555-2154 email businessoffice@nemcc.edu. Business hours are Monday-Thursday from 8am-4pm and Friday from 8am-12pm.

How do I update information on my Mobile ID Card? Expand section

Students that have a name or ID number that has changed, you will need to go to the Records Office in Ramsey Hall. After changing your name, please bring your current ID card to the Housing Office.

Faculty/Staff with name changes will need to report the change to Human Resources. Once the HR Office completes the change in the system, you will be able to obtain a new ID card.

What happens when I leave Northeast? Expand section

As with your physical Northeast ID Card, your Northeast Mobile ID Card will become inactive when you no longer meet eligibility requirements. If you transfer to another participating program or department at Northeast, your credentials will stay active and update accordingly.

Account Balances

Why do I have a negative balance? Expand section

Confirm your device is not in Airplane Mode or experiencing any other service interruption. Updates cannot be made when there is no connecting service to sync data between Transact eAccounts and your device. The Transact eAccounts app will display the most current information.

A negative balance can occur if you make a transaction when a retail device is offline. When the device comes back online and the transaction is posted, you will see a negative balance if there are not enough funds in your account to cover the transaction.

How do I reset my password or MFA? Expand section

To change or recover your Single-Sign On password, please visit the following page on the Northeast Mississippi Community College website: https://www.nemcc.edu/computer-services/sso/.

Can I use a physical ID with my Mobile ID? Expand section

Yes, your physical card will continue to function after you have added your Mobile Card to your device. Remember, the Mobile ID is a privilege and benefit of being part of the Northeast community. Anyone found to be misusing their physical card or Mobile ID will be subject to the applicable Code of Conduct or HR policies regarding fraud and/or misconduct.

What should I do if I lose my device or ID? Expand section

During regular business hours, you can contact the ID Card Office at 662-720-7311 to request the deactivation of your card. Make sure to specify whether you want to deactivate the physical card, watch, and/or phone version of the card. Any device not specified for suspension will remain active.

To deactivate your card using the Transact eAccounts app:

Click the settings gear in the upper right corner.
Select the Card Management option.
Choose the credential you want to deactivate and toggle it off.
You will receive a confirmation email. Only the selected card will be deactivated, and all other credentials will remain active.

To deactivate your card using the Transact eAccounts web version:

Select Card Services.
Select Deactivate Card.
Choose the credential to deactivate and click on "Deactivate Card."
You will receive a confirmation email. Only the selected card will be deactivated, and all other credentials will remain active.

What if I suspect unauthorized use? Expand section

If you suspect fraudulent activity, please follow these steps:

For purchases, contact the Business Office at businessoffice@nemcc.edu to report the suspected fraud.
If door access was involved, email campuspolice@nemcc.edu.

How do I reactivate my ID after finding my device? Expand section

To reactivate a found device that was suspended, follow these steps:

In the Transact eAccounts App:

Click the settings gear in the upper right corner.
Select the Card Management option.
Choose the credential you want to reactivate and toggle it on.
You will receive a confirmation email. Only the selected card will be reactivated.

In the Transact eAccounts Web Version:

Select Card Services.
Select Activate Card.
Choose the credential to reactivate.
You will receive a confirmation email. Only the selected card will be reactivated.

Do I need to update the eAccounts app? Expand section

Yes, you will need to install the updated version of the Transact eAccounts mobile app.

How do I update the eAccounts app? Expand section

On your device, visit the App Store or Google Play Store and search Transact eAccounts. The store will prompt you to install any required updates.
