Residual ACT
The Residual ACT is scheduled numerous throughout the year on the main campus and is available at our New Albany and Ripley sites as well. Information for scheduling is below.
The Residual ACT WILL NOT transfer to a senior college and can only be used for entrance to NEMCC! The Residual ACT is only good for the institution at which it is administered; it is not a transferable score. The Residual ACT CANNOT be used for MTAG!
Please bring a current photo ID, pencil(s), and calculator with you to the test. It is highly recommended to dress in layers to allow for various room temperatures. You must have an Admissions Application for NEMCC on file or you will be required to complete one prior at the test administration. You must wait 60 days between each attempt at the Residual ACT.
Examination is generally completed within 4 hours of start time. Scores are available within 1-3 business days.
The cost for the Residual ACT is $75. Fee is payable by cash, check or money order payable to NEMCC.
Important Residual ACT Information
- Scores will not transfer to a senior college and can only be used for entrance to NEMCC
- Cannot be used for MTAG
- Must have an Admissions Application for NEMCC on file
- Report on time. You will not be admitted to the test if late.
- Bring a current photo ID*, pencil(s), and calculator
- Must wait 60 days between each attempt at the Residual ACT

National ACT
The National ACT is offered seven times per testing year. This test is taken on Saturday beginning at 8:00 am. For more information and test dates, please click the link below to receive more information about the National ACT.
