Dorm Access and Security

Building Access

Identification cards are to be used for admission to residence halls. Failure to have ID with you at all times when on college property can result in disciplinary action. The ID card must be presented to any college official upon request.

Campus Hours

The campus will be closed to all unauthorized personnel from 11:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. each night of the week. Students must be either in the process of entering the residence hall or leaving campus. This procedure is not intended to either penalize or limit students' entry or exit from the hall but is intended to provide optimum conditions for security operations.

Missing Student Notification Policy

As a dormitory student, you have the option to identify an individual that the institution can contact within 24 hours after the time you are determined to be missing. This contact information will be confidential and will only be used if it is determined that you have been missing for more than 24 hours.

If you are under 18 years of age and not emancipated, the institution must notify a custodial parent or guardian within 24 hours after the time you have been determined to be missing. If campus security has been notified and makes the determination that you are the subject of a missing person report and determines that you have been missing for more than 24 hours and have not returned to campus, Northeast must notify the emergency contact that has been designated.

Solicitation of Funds

Private business or solicitation may not be conducted on the college premises except when a student organization has requested a particular service and when such service is directly relevant to the purpose of that organization.
