Gambill, lifelong resident of Booneville, graduated from Wheeler High School, attended NEMCC, received her undergraduate degree from Blue Mountain College and received her graduate degree from Mississippi State University. After teaching junior high and high school English for ten years, she joined the faculty at Northeast in 2006. She is married to James Gambill, Jr. and they have three sons: Peyton, Micah, and Nikolas.
