NEMCC Offers Two Options for Taking the ACT Test
The Residual ACT is scheduled numerous throughout the year on the main campus and is available at our New Albany campus as well. For testing dates at the main campus, see the scheduled dates below. For testing at the New Albany campus, please call 662-692-1512 to schedule testing.
The Residual ACT WILL NOT transfer to a senior college and can only be used for entrance to NEMCC! The Residual ACT is only good for the institution at which it is administered; it is not a transferrable score. The Residual ACT CANNOT be used for MTAG!
Please bring a current photo ID, pencil(s), and calculator with you to the test. It is highly recommended to dress in layers to allow for various room temperatures. You must have an Admissions Application for NEMCC on file or you will be required to complete one prior at the test administration. You must wait 60 days between each attempt at the Residual ACT.
Examination is generally completed within 4 hours of start time. Scores are available within 1-3 business days.
The cost for the Residual ACT is $50. Fee is payable by cash, check or money order payable to NEMCC.
