ACT Test Information & Dates
Northeast Mississippi Community College Offers Two Options for Taking the ACT Test
The National ACT is offered seven times per testing year. This test is taken on Saturday beginning at 8:00 am. For more information and test dates, please click the link below to receive more information about the National ACT.
Please bring a current photo ID, pencil(s), and calculator with you to the test. It is recommended to dress in layers to allow for various room temperatures. There are no vending machines in McCoy Hall where the test is normally administered.
The Residual ACT is offered numerous throughout the year on the main campus – Generally, it’s offered once a month and multiple times at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters. For testing at the New Albany campus, please contact our staff there at 662-692-1507.
The Residual ACT WILL NOT transfer to a senior college and can only be used for entrance to NEMCC! The Residual ACT is only good for the institution at which it is administered; it is not a transferrable score.
The Residual ACT CANNOT be used for MTAG!
You must have an Admissions Application for NEMCC on file or you will be required to complete one prior at the test administration.

You must wait 60 days between each attempt at the Residual ACT.
The cost for the Residual ACT is $40 and is payable by cash, check or money order payable to NEMCC. Examination is generally completed within 4 hours of start time. Scores are available within 2-3 business days.

Report by 8:00 a.m. to McCoy Hall, Room 321, unless noted otherwise in parentheses:
- Friday, September 14
- Friday, November 9
- Tuesday, December 11
