A native of Grenada, MS, Moore graduated from Grenada High School, received her undergraduate degree from Delta State University, and her graduate degree from Forest Institute in Springfield, MO. After working for a number of years with Missouri’s Division of Youth Services, she returned to Mississippi, teaching high school science before joining the faculty at Northeast in 2011. She is married to Bobby Moore, and they have one daughter, Alivia.
