October 23, 2018

#NEMCC Iota Zeta chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society president Jayda Carney of Tupelo and Phi Theta Kappa vice president of scholarship Avaline Morris of Burnsville promote the organization’s panel discussion on Brain Drain in Mississippi on this week’s TigerTalk Podcast (https://ift.tt/2PmDhjg) with Will Kollmeyer. As part of their Honors in Action project, Northeast’s Phi Theta Kappa is helping to raise awareness for the Brain Drain issue in Mississippi and is looking for more research data from the public. So if you received a degree from a four-year college or university in Mississippi, they are asking you to fill out the survey below (Link in comments). Participation is completely voluntary. Four different perspectives on Brain Drain will be in the Black and Gold Room of the Haney Union on Tuesday, October 30 at 6:30 p.m. to present their takes on if Brain Drain is happening in Mississippi and what actions are needed if it is occurring. #GrowNortheast
