Frequently asked questions

NEMCC student are credited with 250 pages of free printing in fall and spring semesters. Students enrolled in summer terms receive 100 free pages. Should a student use all free prints it is their responsibility to add monies to their account. Printing costs 10 cents per page. A printing account is created for non-students. The cost for non-students is 10 cents per page.
It costs $0.15 per page to make copies. The copy machine will take nickels, dimes, quarters and dollar bills.
Game playing, video chatting, pornography, and Internet phone calls (Skype/Google Voice) are prohibited. (See the Library's Procedures Manual for complete Computer Use Policy. )
No, cell phones are to be turned on silent or turned off before entering the library.
No, all work must be saved to a flash/jump drive, Dropbox, or other cloud service. Flash drives can be purchased at the college bookstore.
Up to five items may be checked out at one time. Only two movies may be checked out . Community members are not allowed to check out movies.
Items may be checked out for a period of two weeks.
Yes, you may renew your books one time for an additional 2 weeks.
There is no charge for overdue materials. However, a hold will be placed on your record for any unreturned items. This hold will prevent a student from registering for classes, dropping/withdrawing from classes, and receiving a transcript or diploma until the item(s) are returned and the library has been paid for all lost items.
