In these challenging times, many students may lack access to the Internet at their primary residence. Northeast Mississippi Community College has tried to identify Wi-Fi access points that are open to not only its students but those in K-12 as well, so they can use it to help facilitate their learning. But we cannot do it without your help. If you know of a business or location that allows a person to access the Internet from their parking lot, please leave the location in the comments below. If you are business owner and would like to provide a temporary password to your Internet to help students achieve their educational dreams, please leave a comment below (know that this would be open to the public as well). We want this list to be as comprehensive as possible. As you can see there are vast areas throughout the five-county area – Alcorn, Prentiss, Tippah, Tishomingo and Union – where open Internet has not been identified and students have to travel to complete their studies. As a sign of courtesy and thanks from these businesses that provide Internet to students, remember to support them in as many ways as possible, now and when we return to full service. — view on Instagram
