Pre-Nursing (for those wishing to pursue a BS degree in Nursing)

This program of study consists of 2 years of general education coursework in which candidates receive an Associate of Arts (A.A.) Degree. Graduates will also complete 2 years of nursing courses at transferring institution to qualify for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) Degree. After successful completion of the above, graduates are eligible to apply for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN®)

Students transferring to a BSN program should follow catalog guidelines specific to the senior college. See the advisor assigned prior to enrolling in courses.
