For the Kendrick family, Northeast Mississippi Community College runs in their blood. Dale and Emily Kendrick both attended classes at Northeast. Emily graduated with a nursing degree, while Dale took classes here in the old automated manufacturing technology program then additional classes to gain transfer hours for his business degree. Dale currently works as a senior manager in Caterpillar’s remanufacturing business unit. This marks his 34th year with the company where he is currently over Reman operation’s quality worldwide. In 2008, Dale won the Caterpillar Reman Division leadership award. He has been involved with the workforce council at Northeast for many years and was a curriculum advisor for the diesel technology program. His community involvement isn’t limited to our campus. He serves as a Deacon of the Booneville church of Christ where his family are active members and has served as the President of the Booneville Area Chamber of Commerce and was awarded the Civitan club’s Distinguished President’s award. He also took on the role of national program director for SkillsUSA VICA’s Total Quality Management for fifteen years. In addition to Dale and his wife Emily’s involvement at Northeast, their children Kaitlin and Ethan both have attended classes on campus. Kaitlin graduated from the accounting program and Ethan is currently a Sophomore. Thank you, Dale and Emily Kendrick for your passion for Northeast and contributions toward our success
Chris Cornelison, graduated with a BS in pharmacy from the University of Mississippi in 1998. He has a wife Janet, and two children Alex and Megan. He currently owns two independent pharmacies, Iuka Discount Drugs and Saltillo Pharmacy and Solutions. His pharmacy, Iuka Discount Drugs, was awarded McKesson’s 2016 southeast US Pharmacy of the Year and received Pharmacy Development Service’s National Walk the Talk award. His other pharmacy Saltillo Pharmacy and Solutions earned 2014 Daily Journal Reader’s Choice award. Chris also owns Solutions Rx, a supplement company, that sells over the counter solutions to independent pharmacies. Solutions Rx is currently in over 200 stores across the nation. Chris was named 2015 Entrepreneur of the Year by Pharmacy Development Services. He teaches a course called the Front-End Profit Ignitor that teaches independent pharmacies how to implement sales techniques that solve patient’s problems while creating profit margins for the pharmacy.
Who are we
Northeast Mississippi Community College’s Alumni Association serves as a link between the college and its alumni, faculty and friends. Former students, faculty, staff, and friends are eligible for membership in the Association.
The Association is governed by the Alumni Relations Council. Membership on the Alumni Relations Council shall consist of a maximum of thirty-six (36) individuals from each of the following counties: Alcorn, Prentiss, Tippah, Tishomingo, Union and Lee. One of the six from each county shall be a faculty or staff member from the county.Members of the council shall serve two years or until their successors are appointed. Council members may be appointed for no more than four consecutive years.
