Students are encouraged to maintain their enrollment in all courses for each semester. However, in cases where the academic load is too great to maintain, students may reduce their load by withdrawing from one or more classes. Students are strongly encouraged to maintain full-time status (12 hours or more) if practical. Reducing your course load below 12 hours may affect your financial aide and/or grants.

If you wish to withdraw from an online class, please fill out the appropriate form below and email it to counselingcenter@nemcc.edu, or stop by the Counseling Center in the Jack T. Ramsey Student Services building for assistance.

All withdrawals must be completed by 3:00pm, of the last date posted above. No late withdrawals will be processed!

Class Withdrawal Form (You will use the “Class Withdrawal” form if you ARE NOT withdrawing from ALL of your classes.)

College Withdrawal Form (You will only use the “College Withdrawal” form if you ARE withdrawing from ALL of your classes.)
