Service Skills Certification

Service Skills Certification is the initial course designed to provide the student with the basic skills needed to be successful in a high-demand service environment. You are eligible to take advanced courses after completion of this program.
Job growth is expected to be highest in the service-providing sectors, in which the number of wage and salary workers is expected to increase from 116.1 million in 2012 to 130.2 million in 2022, an annual growth rate of 1.2 percent, faster than the 0.7-percent annual growth rate experienced between 2002 and 2012. The health care and social assistance sector is projected to have the most job growth, adding almost 5.0 million jobs. The 2.6-percent-per-year growth rate is the fastest among all major service-producing sectors – Bureau of Labor Statistics.
