Computer Services

Mission

Computer services are available for all employees and students of Northeast Mississippi Community College. Recent purchases of computer equipment and software packages allow reasonable computer access by the campus community and assure the user groups that balance for computer time is afforded to all.

The computer department staff is charged with coordinating the processes of purchasing computers and related items, of maintaining computer hardware and software, and of assisting college personnel with computer usage.

Faculty & Staff

Computer requests (institutional research, student data, programming, etc.) to central computing should be submitted via the “Computer Services Work Order System” a minimum of forty-eight hours prior to the time the information is needed.

For information on how to access the Work Order System, please contact the Computer Center. All requests are prioritized according to the official college policy. Consultation requests that relate to computer services must be made at the convenience of the computer department staff.

Students

Student requests for assistance should first be directed to the Student Help Desk in the Frank Haney Union.

Tigerline

For assistance resetting Tigerline PINs, please contact the Enrollment Services Office in the Ramsey Student Services Building. Due to privacy laws, PINs cannot be reset over the phone.
