Alumni Spotlight: Dale Kendrick

For the Kendrick family, Northeast Mississippi Community College runs in their blood. Dale and Emily Kendrick both attended classes at Northeast. Emily graduated with a nursing degree, while Dale took classes here in the old automated manufacturing technology program then additional classes to gain transfer hours for his business degree. Dale currently works as a senior manager in Caterpillar’s remanufacturing business unit. This marks his 34th year with the company where he is currently over Reman operation’s quality worldwide. In 2008, Dale won the Caterpillar Reman Division leadership award. He has been involved with the workforce council at Northeast for many years and was a curriculum advisor for the diesel technology program. His community involvement isn’t limited to our campus. He serves as a Deacon of the Booneville church of Christ where his family are active members and has served as the President of the Booneville Area Chamber of Commerce and was awarded the Civitan club’s Distinguished President’s award. He also took on the role of national program director for SkillsUSA VICA’s Total Quality Management for fifteen years. In addition to Dale and his wife Emily’s involvement at Northeast, their children Kaitlin and Ethan both have attended classes on campus. Kaitlin graduated from the accounting program and Ethan is currently a Sophomore. Thank you, Dale and Emily Kendrick for your passion for Northeast and contributions toward our success
