Psychology is a parallel program that prepares students to transfer as juniors to the university or 4-year colleges to complete a Bachelor’s degree.  A degree in psychology can prepare students for employment at the Bachelor’s level as psychological assistants, psychometric assistants, psychological technicians, or case managers; and the degree prepares students for graduate studies at the Master’s or Doctoral level. Graduate studies are the first steps towards careers as therapists, diagnosticians, consultants, instructors/professoriate, and researchers in fields such as, child psychology, forensic psychology, educational psychology, neuropsychology, social psychology, cognitive science and neuroscience.
